A big crowd rallied Tuesday on the Household Kitchen restaurant in Leamington, supporting the eatery which is staying open in defiance of the provincial lockdown order.
Household Kitchen proprietor Kirsty Leatham says her institution has remained open since Feb. 3.
She known as Ontario’s lockdown order unfair and says she would lose her enterprise if she needed to shut down.
Supporters, most not carrying masks and a few carrying anti-lockdown indicators, gathered inside and outside the Erie Road East restaurant — which payments itself as Mennonite-Mexican-Canadian — protesting COVID-19 restrictions.
