GARY, Ind. (CBS) — Fees have been filed towards a Miami man in a financial institution theft in Gary this previous Friday wherein a safety officer was shot useless, the Lake County, Indiana Sheriff’s workplace introduced Sunday.
James A. King, 24, of Miami, Florida, is charged with homicide within the perpetration of a felony and with armed theft.

The FBI and police in Northwest Indiana apprehended King after the incident. The seek for a second suspect continued Sunday.
The FBI mentioned the guard, recognized by the Lake County Coroner’s Workplace as Richard Castellana, was killed throughout a theft shortly after 1:15 p.m. Friday on the First Midwest Financial institution department at 1975 W. Ridge Rd. in Gary.

The Lake County Sheriff’s workplace mentioned King was apprehended in a wooded space close to forty third Avenue and Garfield Avenue in Gary. A backpack containing a .40-caliber Glock Mannequin 22 handgun and about $9,000 in money have been discovered close to the place King was apprehended, authorities mentioned.
