A younger lady in Al Ain, who poured sizzling water on the face and chest of her buddy throughout a heated argument, has been ordered to pay Dh45,000 as compensation for the damages precipitated.
Courtroom paperwork said that the lady filed a lawsuit in opposition to the defendant demanding Dh100,000 in compensation for the bodily, ethical and materials damages she suffered as a result of burns.
Her lawsuit claimed that the defendant poured sizzling water on her, which led to first- and second-degree burns to her face, palms and chest.
She stated she suffered everlasting scars that affected her work and household life.
Although the defendant maintained that the incident was an accident, the Al Ain Courtroom of First Occasion ordered her to pay Dh45,000 to the sufferer as compensation for the damages precipitated.
