The Asian American Journalists Affiliation’s Asia Chapter has launched a first-of-its-kind survey to get a greater image of variety, fairness and inclusion (DEI) throughout Asia’s newsrooms.
Launched as a part of its Advancing Information Range in Asia (ANDA) mission, the survey goals to get a greater understanding of the expertise of journalists in Asia and their perceptions of variety, fairness and inclusion of their newsrooms and in information reporting.
The anonymised survey is open to journalists at present working in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan till October 10. It’s obtainable in English, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese language and Korean, with a Japanese model coming shortly.
