(CBS DETROIT) – Michiganders might quickly see extra Canadian vacationers as border restrictions ease up.
The Biden administration lifting its North American journey restrictions on the Canadian and Mexican borders in early November.

The ban has been in place since March of 2020.
Vacationers might want to present proof of vaccination.

Gov. Whitmer is responding to the border reopening saying, “The connection between Michigan and Canada is one constructed on commerce, journey, and friendship.”
She says she is grateful for the Michigan-Canada border reopening as a result of it means Michigan’s economic system will doubtless prosper.
