A number of civilians have been mistakenly killed by Indian forces within the distant north-eastern state of Nagaland, native authorities officers stated on Sunday.
The Indian residence minister Amit Shah stated he was “anguished” on the information of civilians being killed in a taking pictures incident late on Saturday evening.
Native media studies stated Indian safety forces opened hearth on civilians who had been mistaken for militants. It was unclear what led to the incident within the state bordering Myanmar.
“The state authorities will totally probe this incident to make sure justice to the bereaved households,” Shah wrote on-line.
