Nairobi — The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has prolonged the suspension of flights from Kenya to Dubai to December 24 following the expiry of an preliminary 48-hour interval.
On Monday, the Emirates Airline mentioned that every one clients from Kenya is not going to be accepted to journey through the interval of the ban which took impact at 1030hrs Native Time in Dubai (9:30am in Kenya).
“As per directive from Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), all air transport providers with inbound and transit passenger actions to the emirate of Dubai from any level within the Republic of Kenya are briefly suspended as much as and together with twenty fourth December,” the Emirates Airline mentioned in its Web site Wednesday.
The airline maintained that outbound passenger operations from Dubai to Nairobi stay unaffected.
Whereas expressing its regrets over the inconveniences attributable to the directive, the Emirates Airline requested its clients to carry onto their journey paperwork till the temporal flight cancellation is lifted.
