Former supervisor and enterprise associate of actor Michael Keaton, Harry Colomby has died on the age of 92. Colomby died on December 25, 2021.
Bobby Colomby, Drummer for Blood Sweat and Tears, and brother of Harry, confirmed his demise with a number of sources. Additionally, Harry had been hospitalized 5 years after fracturing his pelvis in a fall.
Keaton and Colomby first met within the Nineteen Seventies when the actor was working in stand-up comedy. “He noticed one thing in Keaton that was astounding,” his brother stated. “He noticed his profession long-term and knew he had greater than just some jokes in him.”
From their first connection, the duo labored on a slew of movies and exhibits through which Colomby wrote and/or produced Working Stiffs, Report back to Murphy, Mr. Mother, Johnny Dangerously, Contact and Go, The Squeeze, One Good Cop, and Speechless.
On Instagram, Keaton commented, “My former mgr/biz associate and most of all, buddy, The nice Harry Colomby has moved on. Unlikeliest of matches, we thought the identical, felt the identical and laughed on the similar issues. He was kindhearted, curious, considerate and man, was he humorous. Neglect “was”. To me he nonetheless is. I liked him and so did all who met him.”
Along with his brother, Harry Colomby is survived by his spouse, Lee, and son, Scott.
