CHÂTEAU-RICHER — A 79-year-old man logging on his land was killed by a falling tree Saturday, the Sûreté du Québec mentioned.
Police say they had been referred to as round 12:30 p.m. to a location close to Rang de St-Achillée O., in Château-Richer, close to Quebec Metropolis.
The sufferer was critically injured whereas slicing a tree with one other man in a wooded space about two kilometres from the street.
The opposite man reportedly transported the injured logger through snowmobile to the sting of the street whereas ready for first responders.
Though resuscitation was tried, the person was pronounced useless on the scene.
An investigator and a forensic identification technician had been dispatched to the scene.
