ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) — A liquor retailer worker is in steady situation after being shot twice within the stomach by a shoplifter Sunday afternoon in St. Paul.
Police say it occurred within the parking zone of Park Liquors off North Snelling and Hague avenues at about 3:45 p.m. Witnesses say the employee was shot after he adopted the shoplifter out of the shop and confronted them.
Officers and St. Paul Hearth Division medics handled the sufferer on the scene till he was taken to Areas Hospital.
Police are nonetheless looking for the shooter.
