Evan Solomon requested Randy Boissonnault on CTV Information Channel’s Energy Play Thursday if he’s working to get home flights again in main hubs.
“You’re talking my language,” Boissonnault stated in response. The minster, who represents Edmonton Centre, stated he can’t get a direct flight from Edmonton to Ottawa. “I’m wanting ahead to bulletins from WestJet, Air Canada and others to get us to direct routes,” he instructed Solomon.
“Governments don’t determine direct routes,” stated Boissonnault. The minister stated the choice is finally made by airways and airports.
He stated the federal government is right here “to have conservations with these events.”
