ROAD CLOSURES FOR THE TOTALSPORTS TWO OCEANS MARATHON 2022

It’s that point of the yr when native and worldwide runners take to the streets of Cape City to compete within the annual Two Oceans Marathon.

The Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, 16 April and the Ultramarathon takes place on Sunday, 17 April.

Please see under street closures in and round Cape City this Easter weekend.

Detours:

  • Visitors from Hout Bay might be directed in through Pagasvlei Street and Spaanschemat River Street to the M3 and Constantia Street after which to Claremont and Wynberg through Alphen Hill Street (Victoria Hospital) between 06h45 and 08h30.
  • Visitors to Hout Bay might be directed from Edison Street and Girls Mile Roads to Spaanschemat River Street and Pagasvlei Street to Constantia Street between 06h45 and 08h30.

The M3 Northbound Carriageway proper lane between Rhodes Drive and UCT will stay open to visitors throughout the occasion.
