The Miami Warmth basketball workforce urged followers on Wednesday evening to name their senators to advocate for gun reform legal guidelines forward of a playoff recreation, after 19 youngsters and two adults had been killed at a Texas elementary college taking pictures Tuesday.
“The Warmth urges you to contact your state senators by calling 202-224-3121 to depart a message demanding their help for frequent sense gun legal guidelines,” the stadium announcer mentioned because the workforce geared as much as play the Boston Celtics in Recreation 5 of the groups’ playoff sequence.
