With the Covid pandemic having put struggling artists underneath additional financial stress, a ‘Past Busking Mission’ shall be launched to revive the Cape City Pageant and assist native musicians.

Former Cape City Pageant CEO, Yusuf Ganief, will workforce up with The Fort of Good Hope, Ariva Arts Basis and Western Cape Division of Arts and Tradition to launch auditions for the Past Busking Mission on the Fort on 15 June 2022.

The Cape City Pageant kicks off the Past Busking Mission with auditions on the Fort of Good Hope on the fifteenth of June 11am – 3pm.
