CHICAGO (CBS) — A Gary, Indiana, police officer shot a suspect Sunday whereas responding to a name of an individual with a gun.
Based on police, Gary officers had been dispatched to the 2300 block of Johnson Avenue round 4:45 p.m. on account of a “male with a gun who was making the residence unsafe.”
Police mentioned, “In the course of the course of contact with the male an officer was pressured to discharge his weapon putting the male.”
The Lake County Sheriff’s Division is now dealing with the investigation.
The officer will likely be positioned on necessary desk responsibility for the extent of the exterior investigation.
