A small airplane crashed within the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway in Corona, in response to the CHP.
The airplane crash was reported within the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway, simply west of the 15 Freeway at about 12:30 p.m. Two individuals had been on board the airplane, and neither was injured, California Freeway Patrol officers reported.
It is not identified the place the airplane was headed, or if it had simply taken off.
The plane was engulfed in flames as firefighters arrived on the scene. The airplane hit at the very least one car, a Toyota Tundra pickup truck, the CHP stated.
“It is superb no person else was injured,” stated Edward Pajardo, a witness.
Pajardo’s sprint cam video captured the airplane crashing onto the freeway in thick black smoke and flames.
