Dan Wieden, the co-founder of Wieden+Kennedy (W+Okay), died peacefully on September 30 in his hometown of Portland at age 77. He took on the position of chairman at W+Okay in 2005. Wieden and accomplice David Kennedy, based the company in 1982 which went on to coin one of many world’s hottest model taglines: Nike’s ‘Simply Do It’. Kennedy died in October final yr.
