About 150 cops from Longueuil, Montreal, Laval and the the Richelieu regional police pressure launched a sequence of early morning raids Thursday aimed and breaking a cocaine distribution and trafficking ring.
The raids observe the launch of an investigation by Longueuil police within the fall of 2019 triggered by a tip from the general public {that a} cocaine distribution ring was working of their territory.
A subsequent surveillance operation led to a sequence of raids in Longueuil in June that netted a cocaine press, a kilogram of cocaine, portions of crack cocaine and methamphetamine in addition to $40,000 in money.
